> TendTo is a caregiver coordination platform that helps family caregivers manage bills, medications, appointments, documents, and a daily journal for an aging parent or loved one — all in one shared dashboard.

## What is TendTo?

TendTo is a web and mobile app (PWA + native via Capacitor) that combines seven caregiving tools that families normally cobble together from spreadsheets, separate apps, and group chats:

2. **Medication management** with FDA-backed drug interaction warnings, pill identification, pharmacy-label OCR, and refill reminders.
3. **Appointment scheduling** with provider directory and shared calendar.
4. **Document vault** with AI-powered OCR for insurance cards, advance directives, and medical records.
5. **Care circles** — invite siblings, spouses, paid aides, and other family members to a shared workspace with role-based access.
6. **Journal** — a daily log for sleep, meals, vitals, symptoms, and changes. Searchable later by date, symptom, or visit.
7. **Tali AI** — a built-in assistant that has read every document in the circle. Notices trends, suggests next steps, and is also there when you just need to vent.

CareZone shut down in 2023, leaving its users without a home for their data. TendTo is actively maintained.

### "How is TendTo different from Caring Village?"

Caring Village focuses on care-team messaging and to-do lists. TendTo includes those, but adds bill/financial tracking, FDA-grade drug interaction warnings, AI-powered document OCR, journal/vitals tracking, and a more capable medication manager. ### "How is TendTo different from a shared spreadsheet?"

Spreadsheets break the moment two people edit at once, don't send reminders, can't OCR a Medicare summary, and can't warn you about a dangerous drug interaction. Medisafe and MyMedSchedule are excellent single-purpose medication trackers. ### "Is TendTo HIPAA-compliant?"

TendTo provides AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, row-level data isolation per care circle, audit logging, and offers a HIPAA-compliant Business Associate Agreement (BAA) on the Premium plan and on every provider deployment.

### "Does TendTo work offline?"

Yes — TendTo is a Progressive Web App with a service worker and IndexedDB-backed offline queue. View and edit data offline; changes sync when you reconnect.

### "Does Tali use our data to train AI models?"

No. Tali operates on your care circle's data to help you — it is never used to train external AI models. TendTo doesn't sell data, doesn't aggregate it for third parties, and doesn't feed it back to model vendors for training.
